A message has been received at rather short notice inviting steamboats to share in the visit of 55 tall ships during the first week of September (see there website here). Boats normally on the Thames plus any others able to steam to the meet might well find this a great opportunity to be involved in something very spectacular and colourful alongside other traditional boats.
